Gympie Baptist Church has several ministries in which people use their gifts and talents to serve and encourage the church community and the broader community of Gympie.
Prayer
At Gympie Baptist we meet together regularly for prayer. There is a weekly prayer meeting before the service on Sundays at 8:15am. There is also a monthly prayer meeting on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30pm at the church (following a light dinner at 5pm). Additionally, we hold an online prayer meeting on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7:30pm. All are welcome and encouraged to join us to pray together or our church, our community and our world.
Ministries to Young People
Kingdom Kids is our Sunday School program for children ages 3-12 and takes place during our Sunday services.
Fusion is a ministry for primary school aged children on Fridays from 4-5:30pm at the church during school terms. Games, Food, Activities and Bible stories.
Youth Group is on Fridays at the church, 6:30-8:30pm
Ministries to Adults
We have a number of home and Bible study groups that meet during the week to read the Bible and pray together. These are a good chance to get to know others around God’s Word. Group details are on the church calendar.
For men, every six weeks or so we have a Men’s Breakfast where men share breakfast together and hear a short talk about something of interest for men. All men welcome.
For the women, there is also a monthly Womens’ Breakfast called ‘Women of the Word’ on the second Saturday of the month.
Outreach Ministries
We have a number of people involved in Religious Instruction in Public Schools.
Gympie Baptist is also one of the associate churches of Cooloola Christian College. As a church we support CCC in prayer and governance.
We also support a number of missionaries, directly support some children through Baptist World Aid.
We would love to have you join us at any of these ministries. For more information, contact the Church Office (54828525).
