The ministry team at Gympie Baptist Church is involved in organising the teaching, worship ministry, and pastoral care of the church.
Ben Cumerford – Pastor
Ben Cumerford joined Gympie Baptist in February 2016 having just completed his theological studies. He grew up in Brisbane where he met Christine, his wife, and God has blessed them with 2 sons and a daughter. Before theological studies, Ben studied Engineering and Business/Marketing and worked for a major Australian resources company in Brisbane and Gladstone in a number of different engineering and leadership roles. During that time, he felt God calling him to ministry and is now very thankful that God has called him and his family to minister the Gospel in Gympie. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, playing guitar and watching the Broncos or the Maroons.
