The Fruit of the Spirit is Peace
Bible Text: John 14:25-27; 16:32-33 & Galatians 5:22-25 | Preacher: Pastor Tony Roberts | Series: The Fruit of The Spirit
25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version (Wheaton: Standard Bible Society, 2016), Jn 14:25–27.
32 Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me. 33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version (Wheaton: Standard Bible Society, 2016), Jn 16:32–33.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version (Wheaton: Standard Bible Society, 2016), Ga 5:22–25.
